I had a Powerbook G4, 15″, 1.33 gHz and after 5 years the power cord died after I gave it to my younger brother. So I looked at Apple to get a new power cord and it was ! I said no way and came to Amazon, found this one and bought on a Wednesday afternoon, paid standard shipping, and I got it on Friday morning! Talk about shipping at lightning speed!
It works great and got here so fast. I highly recommend this seller as well as the product.

Cheap Contruction – JMAZE –
It lasted just beyond the time I had to return it. Then the casing around the part where you plug into your computer began to crack from the heat of the LED, then fully fell apart leaving exposed circuitry, before the cheap soldering finally failed and fell into pieces. I’ve got 72% battery life before I’m computerless again. Sad.
Short-term Solution – N. Kelley –
At first this seemed like a great deal. It looks sturdy & the cord was quite a bit longer than the one that originally came on my Mac. However, after a few months of normal use the charger would frequently stop working and after about 4 months it stopped working altogether. It’s like the connector was not recognizing the Mac, sometimes if you unplugged it & plugged it back in it would work again but the performance was spotty at best & had a really short life span. Not such a great deal after all.

Note that the positive reviews of this adaptor (at least so far) are from people who had bought it recently. The negative reviews are from people who owned it a bit longer. Mine lasted about a year. I thought it would last longer because the construction looks sturdy, unlike the flimsy adaptor that came with my iBook. However, on this unit there is a pinch point on the cord that leads from the outlet to box. Right next to the box is where one of the wires wore down and then snapped quite suddenly one day, even though I had treated it well.
A power cord should last longer than a year.
